The Giants Retail team works collaboratively with Fanatics, Inc. to deliver a best-in-class retail experience. The team focuses on data driven analytics and cross functional collaboration to enhance product assortment, store operations, and overall retail experience at Oracle Park. About the Role:

The San Francisco Giants is looking for a Retail Strategy Manager, where you will have a profound impact on Giants Retail and MLB licensed merchandise. This position will be the primary liaison between the team and the retail operator, Fanatics, Inc. This position will focus on maximizing existing retail operations while developing new revenue opportunities. You’ll work closely with the various departments across the organization including Marketing and Advertising, Ballpark Operations, Digital Media, and others to enhance our retail department. You will be expected to assist in other marketing programs and help grow fan affinity with Giants baseball.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of retail management experience, either as a buyer or overseeing multistore operations.
  • Understanding of Retail KPIs, Retail Math, Inventory Management, and Open to Buys.
  • Experience with product collabs and SMU creation.
  • Ability to digest large data sets and create actionable recommendations.
  • Flawless attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Great at building and maintaining relationship with external and internal partners.
  • Action orientated and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment to achieve departmental goals.
  • Flexibility to work in non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings.

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 plus a 15% annual bonus, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision Additionally, this role might be eligible for bonus or incentive awards.
