USL Championship Ticket Sales Manager

Our Manager of Ticket Sales will lead all aspects of the San Antonio FC Ticket Sales team and be tasked with growing ticket revenue for our USL franchise. Our ideal candidate will possess a positive demeanor, strong team aptitude, willingness to learn and possess strong sales leadership skills.

This position will oversee the San Antonio USL Championship Ticket Sales Team. This team is responsible for growing group ticket revenue and FSE revenue for the San Antonio USL Franchise. A successful Ticket Sales Manager will prioritize their staff and their business achievements. The Ticket Sales Manager is responsible for providing group ticket revenue mileposts and updates on a weekly basis for each business unit. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, strong team aptitude, willingness to learn and develop professionally, and possess strong sales leadership skills. A strong work ethic, passion for sales within the sports and entertainment industry, and desire to work on a goal-driven team are essential qualities. This role will report directly to the Associate Director, Ticket Sales & Service to develop sales plans and establish revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and develop San Antonio USL Championship ticket sales staff. This includes hiring, training, supervising and developing Ticket Sales Representatives and supporting succession and growth.

  2. Manage in the following areas: Lead Management and distribution of accounts, developing process for category management, establishing clear sales revenue and training goals and accountable for call volume and appointment setting.

  3. Innovate, create and implement new ticket sales opportunities while building upon existing programs.

  4. Develop and implement Ticket Sales strategies, including pricing, yield management, incentives, rewards and accountability.

  5. Develop processes that maximize database acquisition and lead management via TicketMaster Archtics. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university

  • Proficient in Ticketmaster Architcs ticketing system, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required.

  • Previous sales management experience preferred

  • 2-3 years of ticket sales success and leadership

  • Proficiency in basic selling techniques and ability to teach others

  • Strong written, verbal communication, presentation and problem solving skills required.

  • Strong teamwork aptitude required.

  • Strong customer service skills required.

  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Able to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
