Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Digital Content Intern and play a crucial role in crafting and disseminating captivating multimedia content to bolster our organization's online presence. As a key contributor to our digital strategy, you'll be at the forefront of our YouTube and Podcast channels, driving engagement and building connections with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the creation and distribution of compelling audio and video content across various digital platforms, with a primary focus on YouTube and Podcast channels.
Assist in crafting eye-catching YouTube thumbnails and optimizing video content for a wide range of formats to maximize viewer engagement.
Support the management of digital statistics, communications, and moderation, ensuring smooth and effective interaction with our online community.
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive digital strategy, specifically tailored to the creation and monetization of content for YouTube and podcast series.
Take an active role in covering practices, games, and events, helping to bring our fans closer to the action.
Embrace a flexible work schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to meet our digital content goals.

Qualifications:

Proficient in video creation, editing, and formatting for both vertical and 16x9 aspect ratios.
Possess a solid working knowledge of social media and multimedia production, with the ability to create, curate, and manage engaging content.
Proficient in storytelling, conducting interviews, and effectively posting content online to connect with our audience.
Highly skilled in using tools such as Photoshop, Premiere, and Excel to enhance content quality and streamline operations.
Familiarity with social media metrics platforms and monetization strategies, ensuring our content generates tangible results.
Actively engaged with current social media platforms and emerging digital trends, staying ahead of the curve.
Exhibit a keen eye for detail, work collaboratively within a team, and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Possess exceptional organizational skills and time-management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledgeable about the Sacramento Kings, the NBA, entertainment, and pop culture, bringing an authentic passion for the subject matter to your work.

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:

Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
Able to work 25 hours per week

Interns will be compensated $15.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
