Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior HPC Engineer to join our HPC platform engineering team. In this role you will implement high performance computing infrastructure across various departments whilst supporting and improving this infrastructure.
In this Senior HPC Engineer position you’ll be designing, implementing and maintaining high performance computing solutions across our technology campus in Milton Keynes. This position provides an amazing opportunity to join the pinnacle of motorsport and own the delivery of on-prem and in-cloud CFD cluster and storage platforms.
To be successful in this Senior HPC Engineer position you will need:
- Expert knowledge administering Linux clusters, job schedulers and filesystems
- Experience in a programming language, such as Python
- Network expertise including Infiniband MPI and Ethernet
- Knowledge of engineering HPC applications, benchmarking and profiling methodologies
- Awareness of good security practice within a HPC system
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools and developing platforms with an ‘automation-first’ mindset
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools and integration within an HPC environment
