Machine Shop Assistant (Chassis)

For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Job Description

As part of a long-term development plan to ensure the continued success of our team. We have 2 fantastic opportunities for a Machine Shop Assistant to join us and directly contribute towards the continued success of our Championship Winning Team.

These positions will be key in the next chapter of our Formula One journey supporting the manufacture of critical components for RB20 and beyond within our state-of-the-art machining facility.

These are entry level positions where the applicants will work within a fast-moving environment of diverse technical challenges.

Will learn to make use of our CAD/CAM and planning systems, understand data and documentation, read and interpret technical engineering drawings as the role will involve the production and Inspection of a variety of unique machined complex components, in a range of materials.

You will therefore develop a good range of machining skills, as well as learn to operate the relevant inspection equipment to measure the components accuracy.

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and be able to work within a high-pressure environment. You must be a confident communicator with an uncompromising attention to detail.
