As our Facility Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a lead role in supporting the Facility Operations Manager. In this role, you will guide, schedule, and lead a subset of Facility Operations team members. We’re looking for someone who possesses great communication skills and is comfortable with facility maintenance and repair.

DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee and promote technical support of the facility across shifts.
Troubleshoot maintenance concerns of the building which can include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
Coordinate the work of external contractors and vendors where needed.
Partner with the Operations Manager on any facility concerns related to internal and external structural integrity.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, read blueprints, pneumatic systems, and HVAC system.
Partner and coordinate with external vendors to support larger scope maintenance concerns.
Manage the development process of direct reports as well as provide mentorship.
Oversee the scheduling process of direct reports.
Partner with the Housekeeping Assistant Manager to ensure that all chemicals are being handled properly and stored correctly. As well as ordering needs for the facility that include sanitization products or equipment.
Partner with the Operations Manager on special projects that enhance the work environment for both staff and players.
Oversee scheduling and deadline of projects in partnership with the Operations Manager.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

At least three (3) years of experience providing technical and repair support within a facility.
Two years of experience leading and training staff.
Ability to take a lead role in communicating schedules and work that must be performed to operate the facility in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to assess the cleanliness and efficiencies of the facility and communicate needs accordingly.
Strong communication skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve results
Ability to move, lift at least 50 pounds frequently.
