We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Security Officer (Third Shift) with the SES Department. This position will be responsible to patrol and report any activity that may involve acts of crime, terrorism, vandalism, or general Footprint Center infractions on the property. This information will be reported to Security Control where the course of action will be determined to resolve the situation followed up by preparing a written report of all accounts of the incident/situation.
This shift is from 3:00pm-11:30pm
What Will You Do:
Responsible to patrol all levels and exterior of the Arena
Screening employees, guests and vendors of access to the facility, or performing posted duties,
Ability to observe and report damage or theft of company property, complete initial investigation on incidents.
Ability to problem solve while providing excellent customer service to all of our guests.
Respond to, evaluate and notify individuals of fire alarms inside the premises
Possess a strong working knowledge of all security posts with the capability to exercise good judgment in a professional manner at each position. These positions include, but are not limited to: The Security Control Room, Guest Services desk, South Gate, Patrol
Document incidents utilizing the basic fundamentals of report writing on Microsoft based programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
Security officers will conduct follow-up investigations as needed to assist with the determination of the outcome to the investigation.
Carry out company policy and procedure.
What We Need From Our Officers:
Ability to handle complaints with sensitivity
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Displays initiative and assertiveness
H.S. Diploma
Prior law enforcement or military background a plus
2 -3 years security experience
Valid Arizona’s driver’s license to operate company vehicles and carts

The schedule for this role is 2nd shift (Approximately 3pm - 11:30pm)
Flexible schedule to include weekends and some holidays to meet business needs
This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
M-Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must possess great Visual Acuity.
Dexterity to handle radios, vehicle screening mirrors, hand wands and other essential equipment.
Ability to lift items weighing 25 pounds or more such as barricade, boxes, bags, etc.
Ability to carry objects of 30 yards without assistance.
Ability to physically defend themselves and others.
Ability to conduct multiple foot patrols of the facility and exterior space without assistance and in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand at fixed posts for several hours at a time in all weather conditions.
Subject to reaching, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions of the job.
Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner without assistance.
Ability to assist guests and staff in emergencies, including pushing wheelchairs and/or picking up, dragging, or otherwise moving persons in distress.
Due to the nature of our business, the employee will work in an environment with large crowds and loud noises to include sporting and concert events.
