Group Sales Account Executive

The Philadelphia Flyers are one of the NHL’s marquee franchises and have one of the most layal and passionate fanbases in sports. The Philadelphia Wings are a National Lacrosse League franchise heading into their 4th season and also have a loyal, loud and proud fanbase.

Overview:

Comcast Spectacor & Entertainment is seeking a qualified individual to drive results for the group sales department. The ideal candidate has experience with the group sales process, is able to drive new business and provides exceptional service to our customers.

This role focus on selling group tickets for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings, and Wells Fargo Center Events, as well as cross sell membership options and premium seating packages. This individual will have a specialized focus in a category that is deemed a strength which could be a focus in schools, B2B, youth sports, or other group specific category.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell group tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Wings and be able to maximize sales through fan experiences and ticket packages

  • Consultative selling to qualify potential customers, build rapport, ask questions for discover client needs, applies product and market knowledge effectively, presents solution and meet the customer objectives, manages and documents the sales process

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals

  • Generate new leads independently through prospecting, canvassing, networking, and referrals

  • Maintain accurate and detailed computerized records in the CRM database

  • Ability to cross sell their category into other events such as Villanova Basketball, Disney on Ice, WWE, The Harlem Globetrotters, Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular and other events as assigned

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and prospects

  • Renew groups year over year while simultaneously acquiring new business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field

  • Minimum 1-2 years of ticket sales experience

  • Ability to articulate and present sales material to clients

  • Prior experience with a crm and ticketing systems preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft word, powerpoint, excel, office

  • Job function requires availability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
