Digital Content Distribution Manager

A quick summary about the Digital Content Distribution Manager role:

As the Digital Content Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the delivery and distribution of content to internal and external teams. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure that content is distributed in a timely and efficient manner. The Digital Content Distribution Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with third-party international agencies and league partners focused on the team’s international content efforts.

What the Digital Content Distribution Manager will do:

  • Collaborate with Production Manager and content creators to successfully acquire and distribute digital content to the proper end user; ensure all content is formatted properly and adheres to brand standards.

  • Monitor and report on the status of content delivery projects and tasks through project management software.

  • Effectively develop and execute strategies and communication processes for delivery of content across all digital properties.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party agencies and league partners; responsible for managing our international digital content efforts which include communication and distribution of content.

  • Implement international content strategies developed by Content Studio leadership through international agencies and NBA partners.

  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy and provide real-time content opportunities for digital advertising.

  • Identify and recommend new technology solutions for content distribution.

  • Coordinate collaboration requirements and the delivery of media to social influencers.

  • Review all creative assets to meet technical specifications, ensure quality of content and confirm that all content adheres to legal and platform regulations.

  • Manage the day-to-day workflow for content delivery, including tracking, flagging, and prioritizing content as needed.

  • All other duties as assigned.

What the Digital Content Distribution Manager needs to have:

  • College degree requirement: two-year degree in marketing, communications, video production or equivalent experience.

  • 4 years of marketing, communications, social media, content production and distribution or equivalent experience.

  • Storytelling and content production experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of digital file formats required.

  • Proficient in file transfer platforms (Signiant, Amazon S3, FTP, etc.).

  • Proficient in macOS environment.

  • Willingness and ability to work all Orlando Magic home games (41-45 annually) and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.
