Job Description:

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clubhouse Manager to join our Minor League affiliate team in Brooklyn, NY. This role ensures the smooth operation of the clubhouse and equipment needs for players, coaches, and staff while assisting in maintaining a well-stocked kitchen in collaboration with the team nutritionist. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the clubhouse, including cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.

  • Distribute, maintain, and inventory all team equipment, uniforms, and gear.

  • Coordinate laundry services for uniforms and personal items.

  • Prepare locker rooms and facilities for home and visiting teams.

  • Assist with logistical support for team travel and be a resource to the teams traveling secretary.

  • Assist with helping oversee the team apartments and key distribution.

  • Assist with packing and unpacking of team’s equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with team and league policies related to clubhouse operations.

  • Support the coaching staff and players with any additional needs related to equipment or clubhouse logistics.

  • Assist the team nutritionist in keeping the kitchen stocked with essential items, ensuring that players have access to the necessary nutritional resources.

Security and Confidentiality:

  • Ensure the security of the clubhouse and its contents, protecting players' personal belongings.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding team activities, discussions, and player interactions.

Qualifications::

  • Previous experience in sports equipment management, clubhouse operations, or related fields preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.

  • Familiarity with sports equipment, including maintenance and repair.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of players and staff.

  • Proficiency in basic computer software for inventory tracking.

  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel with the team if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in professional baseball or similar sports environments.

  • Knowledge of Minor League or Major League Baseball clubhouse operations.

  • Basic understanding of sports nutrition and dietary needs.
