OVERVIEW Assist the Events Finance team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and track payment requisitions to ensure they are properly invoiced, adequate support is included and if necessary, reconcile support to invoice amount.

  • Assist in reconciliation of General Ledger to Operating files on a regular basis on Event files and (a) ensure accuracy, (b) flag concerns, (c) reclass as necessary

  • Record journal entries into general ledger - accruals, reclasses, etc.

  • Issue Account Receivable invoice for hotel bill-backs and other expenses, as needed on Events

  • Complete balance sheet account reconciliation for Events on a timely basis

  • Assist in maintenance of templates, e.g., account coding descriptions, hotel coding template, furnishing, etc templates

  • Maintain historical data files used by team for analysis

  • Special projects/other miscellaneous and departmental related duties as assigned

QUALIFACTIONS

  • Degree from a four-year college or university

  • 10+ years of experience of relevant work experience

  • Disciplined, organized and detail oriented

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels within organization

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments

Salary Range for this role is $60K to $70K
