OVERVIEW Assist the Events Finance team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and track payment requisitions to ensure they are properly invoiced, adequate support is included and if necessary, reconcile support to invoice amount.
Assist in reconciliation of General Ledger to Operating files on a regular basis on Event files and (a) ensure accuracy, (b) flag concerns, (c) reclass as necessary
Record journal entries into general ledger - accruals, reclasses, etc.
Issue Account Receivable invoice for hotel bill-backs and other expenses, as needed on Events
Complete balance sheet account reconciliation for Events on a timely basis
Assist in maintenance of templates, e.g., account coding descriptions, hotel coding template, furnishing, etc templates
Maintain historical data files used by team for analysis
Special projects/other miscellaneous and departmental related duties as assigned
QUALIFACTIONS
Degree from a four-year college or university
10+ years of experience of relevant work experience
Disciplined, organized and detail oriented
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels within organization
Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
Salary Range for this role is $60K to $70K
