
Player Health & Safety Game Day Programs Assistant
Overview /Objective:
The NFL Player Health & Safety team aims to improve sports safety at the NFL and to serve as the innovation leader in the health and safety of sports. The department is seeking a Game Day Programs assistant to support the NFL’s on-field medical programs portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Manage all administrative needs for game day medical programs (UNC, VTML, AMP, ATC, IVRS)
Assist with the onboarding process for Game Day Assistants including:
Provide logistical support for pre-season medical training for new and returning staff
ATC Spotters & IVRS: HR onboarding, payroll/payments
UNCs: Contracting & credentialing prior to season
Background checks for all medical staff
Manage Kronos timecards for all ATC Spotters & IVRS Techs. This includes entering hours for over 200 individuals. Also manage UNC invoicing process.
Serve as liaison between medical GDAs and HR and IT when issues arise
Support department’s invoicing needs
Manage entering game day assignments into GMS on a weekly basis
Distribute all game day credentials
Distribute uniforms/gear prior to the season
Support administrative tasks for all Medical Committees.
Support Player Health & Safety department with various administrative needs.
Required Qualifications:
4-year degree or equivalent education
Very strong written and verbal skills
Proficient in a variety of computer skills including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management and organizational skills
Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
Attention to details
Self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sports or entertainment is a plus.
1-2 years professional or sports administration support and/or game day support
Comprehensive understanding of the game of football, and key aspects of the responsibilities of the NFL league office
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics:
Ability to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects and escalate issues as needed
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs
Ability to excel in high-pressure situations
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and move packages in support of game operations obligations
Travel:
Travel required on an as needed basis.

This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
