
Coordinator, Collectively-Bargained Player Benefits and Retired Player Programs
Overview /Objective
The Coordinator in this position is responsible for coordinating and assisting with all aspects of Player Benefits and the NFL Player Care Foundation, including supporting the administration of those Benefits negotiated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The person in this role will split their time between providing support for NFL Collectively-Bargained Player Benefits and the NFL Player Care Foundation. This critical role will require strong relationship management, analytical and project management skills.
Responsibilities
Player Benefits Duties
Support the administrative components of various Benefit Plans, including the Severance Pay Plan
Responsible for oversight of NFL Player Benefits including input and peer review of correspondence to current and former players
Conduct presentations to groups including current and former players about their benefits and resources
Support all aspects of Credited Season Cases, including review of cases, maintain decision files
Create active and former players’ Benefits dashboards for distribution to former players
Coordinate open enrollment for insurance programs and coordination of grievance award notifications
Manage data and information requests including Death Benefit information, and detailed Player Profiles for individual players etc.
Maintain contracts, decision files, CBA-related information and other documents
Correspond with Club and Plan Office personnel on NFL Player Records requests
Participate in weekly and/or monthly update calls
Contribute to monthly Club communications Player Care Foundation Duties
Support Player Care Foundation programs including, but not limited to, the NFL PCF Career Program
Play a critical role in planning and executing the Foundation’s annual Super Bowl Career Fair
Assist Manager, Retired Player Programs with employer summit, centered around the concept of building and maintaining sustainable rotational programs
Field and manage all NFL Career Program info session RSVPs and send appropriate calendar invitations to former players
Maintain, update and create content for PCF social media accounts
Track NFL PCF Career Program job placements
Participate in weekly and/or monthly update calls
Contribute to monthly Club communications
Prepare, edit, proofread, distribute, copy, scan and file highly-confidential memos and correspondence
Other projects as appropriate
Required Qualifications
Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Three years related project management experience
Leadership Attributes

Public speaking skills
Exceptional business writing, proofreading, typing, and technical skills

The position may require work beyond standard business hours
Proficiency in Windows 10, advanced Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoints skills, Adobe Acrobat, and ECopy Desktop

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
Overtime/weekend work as necessary.
FLSA exempt.
