Overview

As part of the International Scouting department, the Associate – International Scouting Strategy will assist Milwaukee-based office staff in developing strategies for the foreign amateur and professional scouting spaces, with the goal of recommending and signing quality major league prospects for the organization.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

Assess scouting coverage strategy and provide evidence-based recommendations to department leadership
Analyze new and existing sources of data available for international prospects
Learn about and support evaluative methods and efforts within the International Scouting department

The ideal candidate will be pursuing or already completed a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; applicable experience in a baseball-related capacity strongly preferred and have proficiency in

SQL.

Tasked with scouring the globe for the next, great Brewers prospects, the International Scouting department oversees the evaluation of amateur baseball talent abroad. We develop strategies to identify future talent while supporting the development of baseball efficiently and accurately in countries far and wide. You will be given the opportunity to forge relationships within our organization with those working in this key initiative, as well as those working in many other areas of Baseball Operations.
