Assistant Manager, Retail Operations (Airport)

Do you want to work for a Championship organization? We have the job for you! The Miami HEAT Airport Store at Miami International Airport is seeking an Assistant Manager! This role will assist the Store Manager in all facets of operations. This position requires to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

1. Manages all Part-Time Supervisors and Sales Associates.
2. Responsible for maintaining and reaching all projected sales goals.
3. Assists with the recruitment and Hiring of all part-time retail staff.
4. Establish and maintain a retail customer service program.
5. Responsible for the merchandise inventory control.
6. Responsible for all cash funds and nightly deposits.
7. Manages the use of the P.O.S. terminal.
8. Assists with the Visual Merchandising of the store.
9. Assists with the preparation of the work schedules for all retail staff associates.
10. Provides and recommends information on sales trends and promotions.
11. Responsible for audit preparation and final results.
12. Trains all of the Retail Sales Associates and Supervisors.
13. Works extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
14. Assists division with projects.
15. Adhere to all airport policies and security procedures.

Education and/or Experience

Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. At least two years of retail experience and preferred supervisor experience.
