Manager, Entertainment Teams

Summary:

The Manager of Entertainment Teams oversees the day-to-day operations of all Miami Dolphins entertainment teams, including but not limited to the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, mascot, and flag runners. This position works hand-in-hand with other departments to achieve the organization’s overall vision and mission.

Location:

  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all Miami Dolphins entertainment teams
  • Plan and manage the entertainment teams’ budget and payroll
  • Strategize marketing and content plans in alignment with organizational priorities and branding
  • Manage the Cheer Choreographer and other entertainment team related vendors and contractors
  • Develop and execute entertainment teams’ audition process and rehearsal schedules
  • Oversee internal and external appearance requests (booking, confirming, invoicing, hours & payroll)
  • Size, order and manage uniforms and costuming
  • Ability to work all Dolphins home games
  • Assist with Entertainment presentations for major Dolphins initiatives and other events at Hard Rock Stadium, including but not limited to Miami Open and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 or more years assisting and/or coordinating entertainment teams in collegiate, professional dance, cheer, sports and/or events
  • Excellent interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with departments across the Miami Dolphins organization
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Detail Oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work nights, long hours, weekends and holidays
  • Must always demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
