
Portuguese Content Producer
Role specific purpose:
The Portuguese Content Producer will be required to execute digital content creation, deliver against local content plan with the key objective of growing and monetising our international fan base. This a full time, permanent opportunity.
Role specific accountabilities:
End to end responsibility for the delivery of editorial video, gfx content for MCFC with local flavouring
With close liaison with Regional Team Manager develop content strands for MCFC O&O platforms with and without match footage
Write match reports, match previews, interviews, stats amongst other topics
Develop content strands for other relevant platforms used in market
Translations
Developing social media-focused video / gfx, with an in-depth understanding of the various platforms
Article translations
Social media content:
Responsible for the creation of high quality and engaging MCFC social media content that strongly resonates with the local market across range of demographics
Creating regular MCFC news updates tailored to market including subtitling of global content
Facilitation of deep engagement within social media groups of MCFC fans
Share content, cover matchdays, press conferences, interviews, club announcements
Market landscape intelligence:
Provides Regional Content Managers with regular updates about landscape of market they manage. Examples include: social and digital media trends, media best practice in market, demographic information, competitor activity
Fan Engagement and Development:
Responsible for engaging with fans based in given market via media channels
Lead on running in-market competitions and helping to drive Cityzen conversions
Develop good relationship with engaged MCFC fans in market through digital media and social media platforms
Responsible for identifying and leveraging influencers to reach further audiences
General responsibilities

Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:
Essential:
Excellent writing skills
Detailed knowledge of market digital and media landscape.
Passion and knowledge for all-things football
Writing and distribution skills
Good knowledge of latest media / marketing trends being adopted by clubs and leagues in market, but also region.
Knowledge of latest content creation suites and tools available.
Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and other content distribution platforms most relevant to your market.
Native Portuguese (spoken and written)
Great English language skills (spoken and written).
Excellent writing skills, as well as social
Strong editorial abilities and able to provide multiple bespoke versions of same content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, man city.co.uk etc.)
Good sense of initiative and proactivity regarding helping RCMs with opportunity identification.
Passionate about content creation across different channels and forms.
Up-to-date knowledge and passionate about social media trends, apps and digital innovations in market.
Personable and ability to forge good relationships with fans and influencers.
Strong attention to detail, especially with regards to content delivery.
Highly organised and extremely conscious about hitting deadlines but not at the expense of quality.
Able to work flexible hours, including working matchday weekends.
Be proactive and conscientious; take the initiative while maintaining the Company’s high standards.
Possess creativity and the ability to take Man City content to next level.
Degree in Journalism; Television/Media; Language and Translations or similar
Desirable:
Knowledge of Company’s tone of voice and brand guidelines (training will be provided).
Knowledge of the Company’s digital portfolio.
Knowledge of MCFC players most relevant / popular to market.
Prior experience in market wide media and marketing campaigns
Strong network in media industry for given market
Some video production skills or knowledge
