The Sr. Coordinator, Global Brand Partnerships is a member of the Global Brand Partnerships team, and is primarily responsible for integrating with the Global Culture Partnerships and Global Brand Partnerships teams to contribute to the development of integrated brand partnerships for Major League Baseball (MLB).
Education and Experience
4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field and 2+ years experience in marketing or related functional area, OR equivalent relevant experience
2+ years relevant experience in creative agency, consumer brand, or sports ideally in either integrated marketing or social media role
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Data analytics and reporting experience preferred
Experience working with Project Management software, and basic Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Photoshop + Design skills are a plus
Knowledge of the game of baseball preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Integrates with the Sr. Director, Global Culture Partnerships and Director, Global Brand Partnerships to contribute to development of integrated brand partnerships for Major League Baseball (MLB)
Assists and supports with MLB’s strategy and partnership efforts with industry leaders, across key touchpoints including but not limited to music, food, gaming, film, fashion and art – with a particular focus on food, gaming and film
Collaborates to develop and execute creative, integrated co-branded campaigns that deliver against MLB and partner objectives and drive affinity for MLB and the sport, at large, in the marketplace
Coordinates with internal departments (Digital, Social Media, Global Events, Broadcast and MLB Network, Sponsorship, Product, Partnership Marketing, etc.) to ensure activations are aligned with overall MLB lifestyle and culture strategy
Supports the implementation of MLB partnerships by participating in the initial project planning process between MLB and partner counterparts
Stays current with all facets of the dynamic marketing mix including: digital, social media, experiential, and emerging marketing innovations that create opportunity for creativity
Runs and provide insights from analytics reports, and educate internal departments, and external partners on brand and league capabilities and best practices
Monitors industry trends for brand partnership activations and creative concepts for adoption
Participates in development of presentation materials for future partnership pitches and current partnership recaps for leadership as it relates to partnership approvals and review throughout the year
Prepares and refines partnership proposals that clearly outline asset valuations between MLB and potential brand partners
Summarizes activity across day-to-day coordination of MLB in-bound partnership proposal reviews

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $60,000-$80,000.
