About the role

International Retail Account Manager

The International Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club’s international retail global accounts, maintaining and growing these existing retail accounts globally. In addition, they will also be responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of key projects within the retail business bringing expertise and experience from both a digital and offline perspective

What will you be doing?

You will lead the day-to-day management of assigned retail partners, by maintaining regular interaction and developing strong and productive relationships. By delivering 360° account management, you will plan, deliver, measure and report to drive forward and increase partner revenues and relationships to maximise commercial benefit.

By developing working relationships with all commercial and support functions you will align on strategic priorities in the short and medium term. You will work with the partners to develop creative marketing plans, increase revenue and provide guidance on Digital strategies as well as success through offline solutions

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of tools and resources for ongoing visual and operational improvements.
  • Pro-actively drive efficiencies that support international accounts with achieving agreed KPIs and long-term growth.
  • Financial planning and analysis to drive growth of retail partners, whilst delivering and exceeding the financial and operational plan for International Retail and distribution accounts.
  • Responsible for ensuring brand representation at the highest standard, supported through in market development visits and partner events, with frequent trips to market.
  • Carry out business reviews at country level to ensure achievement of the contract schedules.
  • Involvement / taking a lead on projects within the Department, delivering improvement and efficiency.
  • o-ordinate in market or online partner product conferences

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have experience of both Digital Retail as well as physical stores, experience of managing key accounts / partners outside of the UK and Ireland as well as the ability to build long lasting, productive commercial partnerships that will ensure increase in revenue.

We also require:

  • Demonstrable experience gained in the retail sector, preferably within sports or football.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale and distribution channel management, through experience gained working within this industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of building and maintaining multiple relationships with clients within international organisations.
  • Strong administration and account management experience with keen attention to detail and organisational planning.
  • Ability to travel extensively to international markets.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. You can be based from either our Chapel Street office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey or our distribution centre in Whiston. You will need to be able to work form either location from time to time
