The Government Relations Intern will have the opportunity to support our public affairs efforts and help advance initiatives that engage our shareholders around our strategic business priorities. This position will be responsible for helping the Government Relations team with research, legislative, and regulatory monitoring.

This part-time, seasonal internship is an on-site role based in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada, running from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025. Candidates must be available to work for the entire duration of the program. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the length of the internship.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitor state and local legislation, summarize public hearings, draft briefing documents, and assist with research.
  • Provides support to the team on critical projects.
  • Demonstrates interest and some knowledge of current political landscapes.
  • Provides administrative support as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
