The Events Operations Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the efforts of the Event Operations team at the Las Vegas Raiders. This internship offers hands-on experience in planning and executing various events. The successful candidate will work closely with the Events Operations team to contribute to the seamless execution of events and create memorable experiences for fans and stakeholders.
This part-time, seasonal internship is an on-site role based in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada, running from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025. Candidates must be available to work for the entire duration of the program. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the length of the internship.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events.
- Contribute to the development of event timelines, checklists, and logistical plans.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand the innerworkings of the business operation.
- Assist in the activation of sponsorships and partnerships during events.
- Provide administrative assistance, including drafting correspondence, managing documents, and maintaining event-related databases.
- Aid in the preparation of post-event reports and evaluations.
- Assist in the logistical planning and set-up of events, ensuring all elements are in place for a successful execution.
- Coordinate with facilities and operations teams to manage event spaces effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, full-time.
- Undergraduates in their junior or senior year or graduate students pursuing their Masters degree.
- Preferred academic areas of focus include: Marketing, Hospitality, Sports Management or Business.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Sports industry experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for planning events.
- Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
- Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
