This position will be a key member of the WNBA Business Development team responsible for generating revenue for the WNBA through the development and sale of large-scale, integrated marketing partnerships.
Drive revenue for the WNBA by prospecting, developing and selling integrated marketing partnerships that incorporate WNBA IP, media, events, and other benefits/opportunities
Work with AVP, Affiliate League Group Lead and other members of WNBA Business Development on partnership sales strategy, development and delivery of strategic sales presentations, and contract negotiations
Establish and build relationships with senior level marketing decision makers and influencers within the sports marketing and agency world
Collaborate with appropriate internal stakeholders to develop customized WNBA marketing platforms that align with prospective partners' objectives (e.g., Partnership Development, Media, Activation, Social Responsibility)
Develop and write detailed, customized partnership proposals
Collaborate with NBA Business Development on developing and securing multi-league partnerships that include WNBA, as directed
Create and effectively maintain WNBA pipeline reporting documents
Serve as a liaison between WNBA and Marketing Partnerships & Media (MP&M)
Passion for women's sports and creating innovative, purpose-driven brand partnerships

Strong presentation skills and effective at verbal and written communication
Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, matrixed environment
Detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks at once
Very knowledgeable of the sports marketing, sponsorship and media landscape
Experience Needed: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Experience in sponsorship sales or business development at league, team or agency
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Education: Bachelor's degree required
