We are looking to recruit an Inspector to join our Nightshift Inspection team, using various metrology skills and techniques to ensure parts conform to specification. Components could be made by any of the prevailing techniques used in Formula 1 vehicle manufacture – but predominantly metallic machining and carbon-fibre composites.
You will be working as part of a small nightshift team. You will need to be able to work well independently and lean on your own knowledge and experience to make appropriate decisions, processing priority parts as communicated by the previous shift.
Skills you'll use every day:
The operation of basic metrology hand tools, as well as shadowgraphs, height gauges, Surftest etc. A good understanding of Romer Arm (Polyworks) and CMM (PCDMIS) operation is extremely advantageous. Knowledge of composite/carbon fibre manufacturing processes and production would be of use but is not essential.
Education and experience:
You will possess a recognised apprenticeship or relevant experience in a similar environment.
Please note this position is on the Night Shift.
Application closing date:
All applications must have been received by 6th February 2023.
