What You Do
In this role you are accountable for the Washington Spirits’ merchandising & licensing strategy & execution. Your background in the apparel/fashion industry allows you think in an innovative way about how a sports organization brings product to life. You have experience working with design collaborators, trend monitoring, and managing vendors of all types. You are an innovator, you are uber curious, you have ideas always popping into your head and have a track record of bringing those ideas to reality. You are building a 24-month product calendar with the goal of raising YoY revenue significantly. You are securing new/unique retail & distribution partners. You are looking for licensing opportunities for the team where available. You are currently an individual contributor with the ability to bring on seasonal teammates as necessary—you will build a team over time.
Who You Do It With
You report directly to the VP of Revenue and your direct peers are the VP of Ticketing & Director of Partnerships. You work very closely with our Ticketing, Social, Community, Web, & Player Care teams.

Job Requirements
At least 6 years of similar experience
Experience being a collaborator within a team environment
Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19
Available to work nights, weekends & holidays as needed based on sporting calendar
This role is located in our Falls Church office, we have a Hybrid schedule with Mondays & Friday’s being remote
