Reporting to the Executive Director of Sponsorship Activation, the Manager of Sponsorship Activation will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. The Manager is responsible for the planning, fulfillment, measurement and service of all partners. This role must ensure that all contractual elements are executed using the highest level of customer service. This person will service and interact with senior level clients and guests as well as with internal contacts across multiple Nationals departments. Independent judgment and critical thinking are required to plan, prioritize and complete a diverse workload.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand objectives and goals of assigned partners in order to develop measureable, integrated activation strategies that drive business results
Act as the primary liaison between assigned partners and all internal Nationals departments including Community Relations, Philanthropies, Marketing, Gameday Entertainment, Social, Ticketing and Ballpark Operations
Serve as a subject matter expert related to assigned accounts and their lines of business
Provide strategic sponsorship guidance and recommendations to partners
Plan and execute both gameday and non-gameday events and activations
Host and support partners at games as needed
Conduct weekly activation planning meetings with key accounts
Work with 3rd party metrics providers to analyze social media and broadcast performance
Produce mid-season and end of season summary reports
Forecast, prepare and track multiple client budgets
Provide best in class customer service
Participate in and/or lead key Corporate Partnership initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from a four (4) year university or equivalent military experience and
1-2 years of experience working in sponsorship activation either for a sports property, a sports marketing agency or a brand
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
Deep understanding of the sports sponsorship space including trends and tactics
Expertise in developing and measuring dynamic sponsorship activations
Ability to lead large complex partnerships with multiple senior level stakeholders

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in budget management and planning
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to direct the work activities of several associates across multiple departments
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Physical/Environmental Requirements
Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Gameday: Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
