The Washington Commanders are seeking an experienced professional to join our Premium Hospitality Department as Manager, Premium Hospitality. This sales leader will possess a strong understanding of professional sports hospitality, a proven track record in client relationship development, and will be responsible for generating significant new revenue from suite leases, rentals, and premium seating products.
Responsibilities:
Generate significant new revenue by successfully selling a full menu of ticketing products, while also being responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing comprehensive six and seven figure luxury suite anchored agreements to C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations and high net worth individuals
Sell a full menu of Premium Hospitality products including luxury suites (annual and gameday), Touchdown Club Memberships, Loge Club, and other premium seating offerings
· Prospect potential new clients via phone, email, internet, social media, self-prospecting, and provided lead lists
Consistently and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to Washington Commanders senior leadership
Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations, both onsite at FedEx Field and offsite at prospect locations throughout the DMV area
Create, track, develop and maintain all proposals, research, contracts and follow all Premium Hospitality sales processes diligently
Exceed individual sales goals and meeting targets
Work closely with the Premium Hospitality Client Service team to ensure clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of every contract detail
Represent the Washington Commanders at local networking, community, and corporate events to generate awareness, excitement, and sales leads throughout the DMV area
Utilizes CRM system to manage accounts, pipelines, sales processes, and activity
Clearly and effectively communicate personally and professionally within all levels of a company, both internally and externally
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of three years plus (3+) years in sales experience; prior experience selling six and seven figure suite deals in sports & entertainment is strongly preferred
History of top Premium/B2B revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organization
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Exceptional organization and pipeline management skills
Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products
Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market
Local market knowledge is a plus
Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and possess an optimistic team-first mentality
Due to the nature of this role, the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and Washington Commanders gamedays & events
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with ability to consistently travel to offsite client meetings
