Position: Ticket Centre Representative I

Reports to: Manager, Ticket Centre

We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can’t wait to meet you!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ticket Centre Representatives play an integral role as the first point of contact with our fans at the Ticket Centre, whether that be in person, over the phone or on email. They perform sales and service functions at the Ticket Centre and assist our fans with ticketing inquiries. This is an hourly, part-time position with event shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

A typical shift includes:

Ticket Centre Representative

  • Performing sales and service functions at Ticket Centre and ticket windows to external and internal clients, offering an exceptional and individualized customer experience

  • Opening and closing the Ticket Centre for general sales and service, including event day ticket sales and public on sale

  • Receiving and distributing tickets under ‘will call’, premium tickets, and special programs (e.g., Family Packs, Holiday Packs, etc.)

  • Answering general ticketing and building inquiries at window and by phone or email

  • Solving ticketing issues that arise from external customers or from internal bookings

  • Documenting customer ticket issues, concerns or feedback for review and/or follow-up by management or Membership team

  • Maintaining and conducting final balance of cash float and ticket stock

  • Performing and communicating service policies and procedures to Season Ticket Members

  • Assisting Fan Services on any ticketing issues on events past and/or providing solution for service recovery where necessary

  • Promoting, renewing, and selling ticket products and services, whenever possible

  • Providing on-going feedback and recommendations to enhance front line service plan and product development

Guest Services

  • Assists in the execution of season ticket pick up, seat relocation/selection and upgrade programs or special events and promotions, as required

  • Supports the mandate and goals of Membership Experience & Sales (MXS) team and the fan philosophy of Canucks Sports & Entertainment

  • Perform administrative support for the MXS team, as necessary

  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service, sales and/or promotions experience

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends/holidays, as required

  • A commitment to service excellence and proven team player

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner

  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent computer knowledge in standard office applications and database systems

  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2022

  • Experience with Ticketmaster systems is an asset
