The Ticket Centre Administrator will assist in the overall daily operations of the Ticket Centre. This includes preparing daily reports and audits, working within the Ticketmaster systems, supporting Ticket Centre staff, and maintaining the highest level of customer service.

A typical day includes:

  • Providing and exemplifying a high level of frontline customer service

  • Opening and closing the Ticket Centre for general sales and service, including event day ticket sales and public on sales

  • Preparing daily ticketing reports, ticket deposits, cash and credit card deposits, and daily audits

  • Processing internal and external ticket requests for events and hockey games

  • Assisting in the development and enhancement of Ticket Centre policies and procedures

  • Investigating and resolving escalated ticketing issues in the absence of the Assistant Manager

  • Working closely with People department on part-time staff scheduling and deployment

  • Organizing event files for all events, including CAD’s, ROFR files, and price scale maps

  • Coordinating and assisting part-time Ticket Centre staff on event and game nights

  • Working closely with promoters prior to events and on event days, providing colour maps, audits, and reporting

  • Providing ongoing feedback and recommendations to enhance front line service plan

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as business or sports management

  • Two years of box office or ticketing experience, preferably in a similar facility

  • Thorough understanding of Ticketmaster systems (Host and Archtics) and knowledgeable in transacting and reporting in both systems and managing inventory requirements

  • Prior customer service or sales experience

  • Superior communication, conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners

  • Excellent time management, cash handling, organizational, and administrative skills

  • Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Office

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
