The Partnerships Sales Manager is a member of the Corporate Partnership team, who are primarily responsible for achieving annual revenue objectives while supporting the vision and mission of the organization. The Partnership Sales Manager will support these efforts by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with prospective corporate partners. The incumbent will be responsible for prospecting outreach while also responding to partnership inquiries in order to develop fully integrated partnerships.
A typical day includes:
Maximizing category yield in all assigned categories through the development and presentation of solutions to secure fully integrated partnerships, including in-arena signage, broadcast visible signage, scoreboard features, retail promotions, virtual advertising, supply agreements, digital advertising on canucks.com, etc.
Building trust with prospects by achieving relationship time, listening to objectives, etc. and developing solutions that address prospect business challenges and goals
Working with management to ensure prospects fit CSE brand standards and that the proposed solution is satisfactory to all stakeholders
Negotiating and finalizing new partner agreements
Delivering a high level of service to all partners and clients
Managing all aspects of the sales process through Corporate Partnership CRM for lead management, proposal development, approvals, and sales reporting
Participating in and contributing to sales team meetings and training sessions

YOU MUST HAVE:
Degree or diploma in a related field such as business administrator or sports management
At least 3 years of professional sales experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated creativity in the development of innovative and effective sales campaigns
Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
Energetic, self-starter personality with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and adhere to deadlines
Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and the proven ability to learn and master new software programs, including KORE Sponsorship Software system (customised Microsoft CRM)
Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
Professional team and/or sports sales experience
Strong relationships/contacts with direct clients and agencies based locally and throughout Canada
