Committed to service excellence, the Account Executive is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned as required)

  • Manage strategic planning, ideation, consulting, activation, and retention of assigned corporate partner accounts.

  • Provide best-in-class service, consult partners in developing and delivering impactful, effective, and measurable partnerships.

  • Responsible for developing a strong relationship with key partner contacts through consistent touch points to better understand their business and their objectives to grow the partnerships.

  • Manage contractual elements to ensure they are fully executed by all stakeholders.

  • Ensure that the goals and commitments developed for each partner are being met in a timely and high-quality manner with frequent contact to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Work closely with the Partner Brand Specialist as it relates to the approval and activation of all contractual elements in all areas of our business.

  • Develop post-mortem, mid-season, and year-end reports to communicate program successes and proof of performance to Partners.

  • Learn and utilize the Canucks technical suite to execute and report on partnership success, including but not limited to KORE, Tradable Bits, Nielsen, Blinkfire, CRM, and Wrike.

  • Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure that signage maintenance, development, and design is completed to match the partner’s contractual agreement.

  • Execute client hospitality requests, meetings, and game-day hospitality requirements.

  • Facilitate execution of in-game entertainment, events, and in-arena promotions

  • on special projects and serve on organizational committees.

  • Along with Director and Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing is responsible for achieving department revenue goals through successful account management, renewal, and growth of assigned corporate partner accounts.


  • 1-2 years’ experience in Partnership Activation

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as marketing or business management

  • Experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions.

  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience drafting and editing business proposals would be an asset.

  • Highly organized with outstanding administrative and time management skills

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

  • Dynamic, hardworking, confident; a go-getter, with drive and initiative

  • Committed to ensuring superior customer service and supporting the team.

  • Solid word processing and spreadsheet skills. Working knowledge of desktop publishing software would be an asset.

  • Self-starter who can multitask and work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required.
