UFC boasts one of the most powerful social media followings in all of professional sports, with a social ecosystem of over 10 million fans in Brazil! The Digital/Social Media Analyst manages partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency across all platforms. This role develops content distribution strategy based on engagement and analysis of performance metrics, and consistently looks for new and creative opportunities to provide fans with an engaging brand content.

Essential Functions:

  • Production of interviews, articles, official announcements, special content, etc.

  • Coverage of Fight Weeks for social networks and website.

  • Possible coverage of events on weekends.

  • Posting and adapting/translating global social media content for UFC Brazil channels.

  • Track KPIs around UFC events such as total mentions, reach, impression, unique users, demographic and geographic information.

  • Measure social follower growth across all platforms.

  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly analysis on content, customer service, web traffic, revenue and any other metrics specifically driven by social media channels.

  • Track all current and new records by platform, events, athlete and share with appropriate teams to use in press releases, news stories, etc.

  • Performs the role with an ‘always on’ approach to digital and social media, constantly monitoring and engaging current trends, influencers in the region, website, athletes, celebrities and trends.

  • Manages analytics programs, as well as tracking links/codes for social POS.

  • Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

  • Advanced level user familiarity with various social media platforms.

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop, video editing software and photography skills, and the ability to learn other basic computer programs.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to research and test new platforms as well as consistently staying on top of new technology and updates to existing social media platforms.

  • Propose original, timely and innovative stories.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of mixed martial arts.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
