The primary responsibility of the Consumer Intelligence Analyst is to use data to determine market and business insights to support key decisions in enhancing the overall fan experience. The analyst will contribute to the design, development and distribution of data analysis, reporting, and insights. This position will consult with departments across the business and provide essential support in the creation of strategies. As a member of the Business Strategy and Analytics department, the position will take part in diving into a vast pool of data and translating data to insight to action.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Primarily conduct research projects in the form of survey development, analysis and communication, with a focus on consumer experience and satisfaction, client retention, purchase intentions and partnership recognition

  • Develop and implement measurements to gauge the fan experience

  • Integrate and summarize ad-hoc data to deliver insights answering key business questions

  • Create live reports & present findings/ recommendations to key stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Lead customer segmentation efforts and interpret results to provide impactful insights to the business

  • Participate in the development and enhancement of key programs to optimize consumer awareness, market share, overall efficiencies and support specified work function initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish activities and interact with internal and external parties to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities

  • While the primary functions of this role will be to oversee the survey strategy and customer segmentation efforts, this person will also work on developing the skill set to story tell with data; undercovering meaningful insights through analyzing large sets of complex data

60% Survey work; 20% customer profiling and audience segmentation; 20% ad hoc projects & professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, analytics, or the sciences preferred

  • One year of experience in either Analytics or Market Research

  • Ability to translate seemingly complex data into a cohesive and easy to understand story for a non-technical audience

  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the business, in the business community and with vendors

  • Capability to track details and meet deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions

  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)

  • Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated experience with various forms of syndicated research (ex: YouGov), surveying (ex: Qualtrics), data visualization (Tableau preferred)

  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities as well as critical thinking skills and attention to detail
