Location: Staplewood Training Ground, Southampton Basingstoke RTC and London Regional Centre

Hours: Part Time (including evening and weekend work)

What will you be doing?

You will be coaching Goalkeepers at our Academy and Regional Centres within their training and match day programme. To contribute to a progressive learning environment by planning, delivering and reviewing sessions in accordance with our Development Curriculum and Coaching Philosophy, which positively impacts a player’s development and potential to achieve on and off the pitch.

This dual role will see a successful applicant support the coaching of Goalkeepers at two Regional Centres in West London and Basingstoke. The successful candidate would be expected to travel to these sites independently and require a clean drivers licence.

Is this you?

Are you a skilled Goalkeeper coach within the South/South East of England and qualified to a FA Level 2 minimum. You have good experience working with and developing Academy players, excellent communication and relationship building skills, and brings constructive and positive energy in every session.

Essential Experience:

  • Working with high performing GKs.

  • Understanding of EPPP and academy football.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum FA level 2.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to travel to our Regional Centres as well as our Academy based in Southampton.

  • Enjoys working with u9-16 age groups.

  • Highly motivated to learn and develop with SFC.

  • Good level of IT literacy to plan and ability to design and upload sessions.

  • Good communication skills to work with a team of coaches across sites.

  • Professional attitude.

  • Proactive and uses initiative.
