The Manager of Premium Sales will be responsible for selling high-end premium seating inventory through prospecting and relationship building with a primary focus in the business community. Climate Pledge Arena provides new VIP sales opportunities for the Seattle Storm including VIP Cove Dining Experiences, Premium Spaces, Moet & Chandon Imperial Lounge, and Pitchbook Suites in addition to VIP Courtside and Premium Club Seats. The Manager of Premium Sales will serve as the process owner of multiple Storm premium products and experiences.
Essential Functions
Sell high-end premium seating inventory and experiences throughout Climate Pledge Arena
Prospect, cold call, email market, social sell, and build relationships with a primary focus in the business community
Execute the premium sales plan (memberships, packages, suites, and other premium offerings) to drive results and exceed goals
Manage game day experiences for VIP premium products with a commitment to excellent customer service and fan experience
Assist with content design and strategic layout of targeted emails and marketing communications to promote premium products
Monitor Climate Pledge Arena premium inventory to maximize revenue opportunities
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Archtics ticketing system to maintain records of prospects, clients, and inventory
Track and provide reports to Chief Sales Officer detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and pending deals
Develop new ideas and recommendations for premium product strategies, campaigns, tactics, and timelines
Represent the Seattle Storm in a positive and professional manner consistent with Seattle Storm’s mission and core values
Support B2B sales efforts for additional F10SM partner events
Will perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
A minimum of three (3) years of sales experience, including demonstrated sales and leadership prove success in exceeding goals
Ability to initiate and maintain actions to attain goals, regularly monitoring progress
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to manage performance against goals
Proven track record of sales, persuasion, and excellent negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate across departments with excellent communication and relationship building
Excellent writing skills, experience with customer correspondence and professional communication
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Strong decision-making ability
Knowledge of the Seattle market, including pre-established relationships and contacts
Compensation/Benefits
$48,000-$50,000 base compensation per year depending on experience
Potential commission – unlimited, expected at approximately $12,000
Potential bonus – approximately $5,500
