The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to help bring T-Mobile Park a life and elevate the fan experience by maximizing the capabilities of our digital displays.
This key team member will manage the designing, programming and content operations of the state-of-the-art display systems at T-Mobile Park. This includes LED displays, IPTV and digital menu boards, with the ultimate goal of creating one of the best entertainment and informative experiences in Major League Baseball.
This full-time position is a crucial member of the award-winning Productions Department, collaborating within the department and across the organization to achieve the club’s goals. This position requires flexible work hours, including nights, weekends and holidays for baseball and other events held at T-Mobile Park.
Essential Functions:
Manage the content and control systems for multiple displays systems, including Daktronics, Triple Play, and Ross Solutions.
Responsible for designing and creating graphics for the displays and game presentation elements, with a focus on statistical and data-driven content. This includes still graphics, motion graphics and video content.
Provide strong people leadership; implement strategies to effectively manage Team Members and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of department’s people resources.
Train, evaluate performance, and foster growth and development of Team Members, encouraging personal and professional development.
Create and program scripts, triggers, and dashboards for system operations.
Fully understand all applications and control hardware within the Daktronics system, including Daktronics Content Studio, Show Control and DakStats applications.
Stay up-to-date and keep abreast of new software, version updates and features within the system applications.
Oversee management and supervision of produced content and event operations for IPTV and digital menu displays.
Coordinate the integration of auxiliary systems triggered by Daktronics and IPTV controllers (switcher, Xpression, ballpark field lights, LED accent lights, etc.)
Manage staff (full-time and gameday) associated with the content operations of the LED, IPTV, and digital display systems.
Lead liaison between the Productions Department and the Technology Solutions Department regarding the operations of the LED, IPTV, and digital menu displays.
Operate positions within the LED control system environment on game days and for events.
Troubleshoot and identify issues and potential areas of concern within the control systems with the ability to learn from both successes and failures to establish best practices.
Must be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and adapt to the circumstances that occur in a fast-paced live production environment.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in large facility, preferably in major league sports, live events or entertainment.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisor role required.
Experience with designing and programming IPTV and Digital Menu Boards (Triple Play preferred).
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):
Strong knowledge and experience with LED Content Management Systems, specifically Daktronics and their suite of control and stat applications.
Skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Premiere, AfterEffects & Photoshop.
Understanding of broadcast control room environments
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
In-depth knowledge of baseball is preferred.

The anticipated range of base compensation for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 annually. In addition, we offer eligible Team Members a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a competitive 401(k) company match. We also provide complimentary parking, paid public transportation, paid parental leave, 80 hours of paid time off annually , and 9 days of paid holidays per year.
