Full-time – Temporary (until 28th Feb 2023)

The Scottish FA is seeking to recruit a Referee Appointments Officer to join our Referee Operations Department, reporting to the Assistant Referee Administration Manager. The role will involve appointing referees to competitions Tier 5 and below while also providing administrative support to the department as appropriate.

The successful applicant will become the main point of contact for covering call offs across the non-professional game. Core hours will be Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. There may be instances where a Saturday or Sunday shift 8am – 2pm may need to be covered.

Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to work to strict timescales and deadlines. Must be computer literate with a competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as being flexible and adaptable whilst working under pressure.

The position will be a hybrid arrangement between home working and office working (based at Hampden Park, Glasgow).
