About the Team:

The Event Strategy & Services team (ESS) curates, plans, and executes fan and client hospitality programs. The Tours team facilitates the marketing, sales, and operations of the Giants Ballpark Tours program including public daily tours, private tours, and educational tours. This role will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with all departments in the organization on both gameday and non-gameday tours programming. This particular position will play a critical role in the implementation of our tours program. About the Role:

Department - Event Strategy & Services Reports to: Event Manager

The Tours Coordinator will collaborate with the Tourism Development Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of public, private, and educational tours. You will also work to implement and execute streamlined processes and procedures for all Tour Guides and Tour Supervisors. This position will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills as you will play a key role in disseminating information to internal and external stakeholders and making sure systems are updated. You will work closely with Giants Enterprises, Ballpark Operations, and Ticket Services and be expected to help elevate and grow our tours programs. This position will oversee and support a team of Tour Guides and Supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience

  • A keen sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to get it done

  • Great at driving and maintaining relationships with external and internal partners

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Proficient in Google Suite & Outlook and comfortable with technology and payroll programs

  • A desire to jump in with both feet and learn

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly rate for this position will be $25.00 / hour.

In addition to your pay, the San Francisco Giants believe in providing a competitive total rewards package for its employees.
