About the Role
The San Francisco Giants are looking for a Ticket Accounting Analyst who will manage the ticketing system accounting by reviewing the processing in the ticketing system to ensure accurate inputs. This position is also responsible for the reconciliation of outputs and controls over ticket purchases to help us ensure overall control of the ticket accounting process. In addition, this position will reconcile general ledger accounts, and monitor broker receivables to reduce bad debts.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because….
You will serve as the primary liaison between Accounting and the Ticket Office to promote sustainable processing methods and work with processors to establish appropriate system inputs.
Review entries in the ticketing system (ProVenue) to ensure processing is complete and accurate to facilitate reconciliation of the Company’s deferred revenue accounts.
Create general journal entries monthly, recording ticket revenue, and various related discounts.
Ensure ProVenue is the most up-to-date view of customer accounts; and monitor ticket/broker receivables in the Company’s general ledger system.
Review weekly settlement summaries from the ticketing system to ensure all fees are recognized properly and any variances are identified and settled on a timely basis.
Responsible for documentation and reconciliation of check and cash deposits; perform daily reconciliations to ProVenue and maintain proper audit trail and support.
Review and monitor ticket account credits to facilitate the conversion of existing credits into sales or the issuance of refund checks to customers.
Continually monitor existing controls around cash management and processing of cash related to tickets; aid in the implementation of new processes and controls around the handling of cash as needed.
Review and reconcile complimentary ticket usage to ensure proper accountability of users.
Reconcile monthly, the Company’s deferred revenue and ticket receivable general ledger accounts.
As needed, ad hoc reporting on various components of ticket sales and other general ledger accounting related tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
One to two years of relevant professional experience.
Proficient in Excel tools and analytics.
Tickets.com/ProVenue and Workday experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of professional integrity and ethical standards.
