About the Role:

The San Francisco Giants are looking for a Senior Manager, Partnership Sales & Business Development, where you will have the unique opportunity to grow integrated sales efforts for a prestigious and long-established brand. You will work closely with the Giants Partner Activation, Marketing, Social Media, Game Entertainment, Community and Ballpark Operations teams that tie into the overall culture and team environment to achieve both individual and organizational revenue goals. You will be expected to infuse professionalism, leadership, energy, and creativity into the sales organization and bring new ideas and value to the existing corporate sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to exceed sales targets, manage complex and demanding client relationships, and foster consultative selling with a thoughtful and strategic approach to the market. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Partnerships & Business Development and will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because you will…

  • Be a direct contributor to the organizations partnership growth strategy – build upon the culture of excellence by continuously maximizing revenue growth with new & existing accounts, managing direct relationships to increase business, initiate special promotions and new opportunities.

  • Own and nurture the partner relationship from start to finish - prospect/cultivate new leads, develop targeted marketing solutions, and secure multi-year partner agreements.

  • Develop seasonal, cross-platform corporate marketing strategies – ability to use data and analytics while thinking outside the box to brainstorm innovative, partner focused campaign ideas across live-sports entertainment, digital marketing, broadcast media, etc.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members - plan and execute with key internal stakeholders from strategy and concept, through production, implementation, delivery, recap reporting and collections.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales tenure and successful track record of prospecting, fostering, and closing long-term corporate partnership agreements

  • Goal oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/clients in a time sensitive environment

  • Established client and agency relationships/network of contacts across various levels and industry categories

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to author and deliver professional email outreach, marketing proposals, legal Letters of Agreement, proof of performance presentations, etc.

  • Experience and comfortability working with data and analytics software (Zoompf, Yougov, Nielsen, Scarborough) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

  • Tolerance for ambiguity & seasonal/non-traditional work hours

  • Strong team player, ability to see the bigger picture and pitch in wherever needed to get the job done
