Position Summary:

The San Francisco Giants are seeking a Latin American Strength & Conditioning Coordinator to join the Baseball Operations team. This role will have primary responsibility for the implementation of Strength & Conditioning protocols at both the Dominican Republic Academy and Baseball Complex in Phoenix, AZ for the Giants Organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Strength & Conditioning program at the Dominican Republic Academy.

  • Travel to the Dominican Republic Academy approximately 20 weeks out of the year (DSL Spring Training, DSL Season, Development Camps, 40-man visits).

  • Assist, educate and develop Dominican Summer League Strength & Conditioning Coaches.

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator.

  • Assist medical staff in Arizona and the Dominican Republic with rehab players as needed.

  • Collaboration with all members of player development as part of a holistic developmental approach.

  • Communicate plans, goals, and progress with players and staff members at specific times of the year.

  • Transfer reports for players leaving the Dominican Republic to Arizona.

  • Schedule and supervise off-season camps at the Dominican Republic Academy.

  • Strength & Conditioning Program Development tasks throughout season as needed.

  • Other duties and projects as needed.

  • Facilitate aspects of Sport Science program.

  • Assist medical staff as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in exercise science-related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • NSCA – CSCS and RSCC

  • Minimum 3 years of professional or college level Strength & Conditioning experience required.

  • CPR/ AED required.

  • Exceptional relationship/rapport building skills, including ability to work effectively with wide range of departments, seniority levels, and personalities.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

  • Position will be based in both Phoenix, AZ and Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
