About the Role:

The Project Manager will work in part with our Design Studio team and be involved in the day-to-day creative requests of the San Francisco Giants and Oracle Park projects. The Project Manager is responsible for project scheduling, workflow, and efficient resource management for internal creative teams. They will work alongside all departments within the organization to provide thorough communication, client service, and attention throughout the entirety of all project requests. The Project Manager will also assist with the Procurement team in the day-to-day management of outside vendor relationships. This position will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

Oversight and management of the project intake process

  • Assign and guide the flow of project requests to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

  • Follow-up on active project schedules and engage in the proofing process to cross-reference project details as needed.

  • Responsible for keeping request forms up-to-date and accurate.

  • Liaison with Lytho to build, update, and improve reporting functionality.

  • Organize and lead effective standups with creative team to ensure ongoing efficiency and proper alignment of project and resource goals

Management and collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Initiates and facilitates communication between all stakeholders and creative team members assigned to each project.

  • Pursue feedback and maintain records of completed work.

  • Attend regularly scheduled internal team meetings to engage with all departments across the organization.

Collaboration with external vendors

  • Assist with file delivery and production schedules with the Design Studio & Procurement team

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience managing project timelines within a creative or marketing environment

  • At least three years of experience working within a project management system & software

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, design or similar field.

  • Proficient in G-Suite, Box & Microsoft Office

  • Experience working with Lytho

  • Knowledge of the creative process

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working with external vendors

  • A strong interest in design for marketing and advertising within a sports environment.

  • Understanding of digital media (social media, print, video, large format, etc.)
