The ballpark operations team are responsible for the event day needs of the organization’s events here at Oracle park which includes but is not limited to. Set up and tear town of all Evolve security screening unites, security tables set ups, barricades setups, signage setups, field walls and protective nets, assist other departments with pregame hospitality areas, delivering promotional giveaway items to all the gates as well as the special ticked items. During no game events the team is assisting the GE event coordinator with multiple tasks as needed for the event. On no game or event day the crew is assisting the Operations department as needed in a large range of task.

About the Role:

The Operations supervisor will be asked to manage the staff on site in making sure they are in uniform and that they are always on schedule during the event or game with the assignments they have been given. The supervisor will also assist in the interviewing and hiring of potential new staff as well as be responsible in managing the scheduling and payroll of the event staff. The supervisor will also be working closely with GE managers in scheduling and setups for the no baseball events. The position will also require taking a lead role in selected duties of such things as scheduling for repairs of communication radios, AED unites and assisting in the scheduling of third-party vendors in order to service the onsite ATM machines.

Qualifications

  • Supervisor experience helpful

  • Current California drivers’ licenses

  • Clean DMV record

  • Able to work off hours of the day and weekends and holidays if necessary

  • Forklift certification required upon hiring (the organization will provide any training)
