The San Francisco 49ers have an exciting opportunity to join the Business Strategy & Analytics team as a seasonal Business Intelligence & CRM Associate. The position will run approximately from mid-September 2022 through May 2023, with flexible start and end dates. This position is uniquely positioned to play a critical role in the strategic development and execution of our CRM system including campaign management, building marketing segments, and workflows/optimization. The role also includes data analysis projects, including but not limited to querying databases and designing data visualization dashboards

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to interact with various departments in the company including sales and marketing, and gain experience in different facets of the business operations of a professional sports team.

The position will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week, and specific schedule to be coordinated with manager. This role will be based at Levi’s Stadium with some remote work and may be asked to work some weekends and event days (primarily NFL games).

About Business Strategy & Analytics

The Business Strategy & Analytics (BSA) department has a direct hand in developing strategy for almost all departments of the 49ers business, including ticket sales & service, corporate partnerships, community relations, digital & email marketing, retail, concessions, and stadium operations. The BSA team is also heavily involved with the development of Elevate Sports Ventures, a joint partnership between the San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Oak View Group, and Ticketmaster/Live Nation that provides consulting services for sports entities around the country.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supports day-to-day administration tasks of CRM system and Data Warehouse including platform integrations, lead distribution, workflows, data visualizations, and reporting.

  • Aids in the creation and maintenance of compelling lead-generation campaigns to engage our customer base.

  • Queries and builds target audiences for email marketing efforts and assists in email testing strategy.

  • Gathers business requirements for our data warehouse and automated solutions.

  • Assists in the validation and QA of new sources of data, and CRM / data integrity projects.

  • Conducts research and creates presentation materials.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce) a plus

  • Experience with SQL or other database languages a plus

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) a plus

  • Experience with Google Slides a plus
