DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Edits videos for final presentation: videoboard, social media, commercial, both internal and external community outreach, corporate partners, and other Petco Park events
Works with the Sr Motion Designer to design and create, motion graphics for all video displays in-park, commercial production campaigns, in-game feature videos and special video projects, using Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects and 3D software (Cinema 4D)
Creates player headshots, fan prompt animations, LED ribbon fascia animations (both sponsor and team-oriented). Also, edits and creates graphical looks for in-game videos, broadcast and online social media videos, commercial graphics and templates
Concepts and edits music videos, feature packages, webisodes and half-hour programs
Works in conjunction with Padres production staff to versionize headshot animations, and collaborates with producers for social media content
Collaborates with other entertainment and production personnel on graphical elements, videos, long form and special projects
Serves on crew for production video shoots as needed
JOB REQUIRMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
4-year bachelor’s degree or educational equivalent in Video editing or motion graghics or equivalent work experience
Must have expert knowledge and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with the following software: Adobe Creative Suite to include AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
Intermediate knowledge of 3D software, Cinema 4D or similar program. Past experience designing for Ross Expression a plus
Production experience in a live control room environment at a TV station, production house, or equivalent entertainment venue a plus
Possesses creative and artistic skills for video editing and design
Must have basic knowledge of video camera and field production equipment
Possesses intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office for the company-wide network, including Word, Excel and Outlook and Access
Prior experience and ability to work with standard office equipment (copier, printers, fax, telephones)
Ability to write and edit professional documents, scripts, training materials, memos, policies and procedures
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required to maintain positive work relationships with co-workers, managers, other departments and leadership
Possesses good working knowledge about the Padres’ organization, its personnel and history

Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
