Please note that this seasonal position will run from late January 2023 through early April 2023 with roughly 30-40 hours a week. This position is located in Peoria, AZ, and no housing is provided so selected candidate must provide their own.


Facility Operations

  • Set up conference rooms for meetings, MPR for lunches and meetings

  • Set up daily music for fields

  • Conduct tours of the facility for Padres clients and fans alike

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Peoria facility by cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms (re-stock toilet paper and paper towels), corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas

  • Keep facility refrigerators stocked at all times

  • Oversee upkeep of exterior patio and picnic areas

  • Lock the outgoing door of the upstairs patio and wives lounge every night

  • Aid in unloading of shipments from trucks

  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the baseball operations department

  • Assist the Manager, Peoria Operations as needed

Baseball Operations

  • Make airport transportation and golf cart shuttle runs

  • Fill up the gas tanks of rental cars

  • Run tickets to the Box Office

  • Clerical duties as assigned such as assisting the Front Desk when busy

  • Assist the clubhouse staff when needed

  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Baseball Operations department

JOB REQUIREMENTS – Must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Demonstrated passion for the sport/business of baseball

  • Detail-oriented individual with strong work ethic

  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, verbal and written communications, decision-making, and organization skills

  • Consistent, punctual and regular attendance

  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

  • Able to travel as needed

  • Valid Driver’s License is required

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

  • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the facility for prolonged periods of time; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds

  • As a condition of employment, the job candidate(s) must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check, drug screen and provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination + booster.
