Job Description: The Sacramento Kings is looking for a Director of Partnership Solutions! You will play a critical role in helping deliver integrated marketing solutions for current and prospective Sacramento Kings partnerships. The successful candidate will use their keen understanding of brand’s marketing goals to utilize strategic resources in developing go-to-market platform opportunities across all our franchises and facilities, and optimally communicate them. Their strong collaboration skills both internally and externally will make them a center point of idea generation and innovation for the global partnership and throughout the organization.

This full-time, exempt position is based on-site in Sacramento, CA offering $85,000/yr.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a research tool to develop platforms and communicate innovative ideas and business opportunities that position Sacramento Kings as a global leader in sports partnerships.

  • Enhance team and partner knowledge of sports marketing and current trends/ innovations through purposeful thought leadership while analyzing related partnership approaches from competitors and external industries to drive innovation.

  • Create and develop integrated marketing solutions including the organization of new and existing partnership platforms through cross-functional collaboration and implementation.

  • Explore and Utilize design and communication tools that maximize the quality, creativity, and engagement of presentations for current and prospective regional, national, and international partners.

  • Work closely with Business Intelligence to understand quantitative tools in measuring & reporting brand KPIs

  • Act as a liaison with third-party vendors to better understand partnership research & evaluation capabilities

  • Perform key category analysis. Identifying strategic brand positioning and list of prospect targets

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, sports management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of successful partnership sales or marketing experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Salesforce, KORE, Nielsen, and Zoomph experience preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels within the team, NBA, and outside organizations.

  • Strong presentation skills (written and verbal).

  • Strong organizational and persuasion skills.
