As our People & Culture Development Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our staff to thrive and win at work.

The People & Culture (P&C) Development Specialist will be dedicated to driving employee engagement, learning, performance, and professional development initiatives by applying their program management skills and employee-focused mentality. This role is responsible for supporting new hires through the onboarding experience, coordinating engagement, and training events, supporting learning and performance systems and program sourcing and development.


  • Lead the new hire onboarding experience including orientation facilitation, onboarding content development, new hire communications, etc.

  • Facilitate the intern program experience including planning and driving development and networking events and opportunities, managing the intern project, coordinating social events, etc.

  • Support adoption and maintenance of rewards & recognition program for both full-time and part-time staff through employee and manager communication, programming and incentives.

  • Coordinate learning and development (L&D) events, including but not limited to: scheduling, communication, employee sign up and attendance management, facilitator support and coordination, supply and material preparation and set up, venue and food/beverage coordination.

  • Establish, facilitate and project manage a committee responsible for planning full-time and part-time staff appreciation events.

  • Support program evaluation and assessment including survey administration, focus group coordination, feedback collection and analysis related to employee engagement, rewards & recognition, L&D programs, appreciation events, etc.

  • Collaborate with our HR Info Systems (HRIS) function to administrate learning and performance systems, including but not limited to maintaining user access; managing course set up and enrollments; collaborating on reporting as needed; managing training compliance; troubleshooting employee program questions.

  • Establish comprehensive documentation and project management processes for execution of all people & culture programs including onboarding, compliance trainings, development programs, rewards & recognition, and appreciation events.

  • Manage Suite 300 employee intranet site including content maintenance, stakeholder support, enhancement implementations and user support.

  • Coordinate and support all People & Culture programs with DEI principles and best practices as foundational, ensuring all experiences are inclusive, accessible, and promote a sense of belonging amongst employees.

  • Support development and deliver facilitation of internal L&D programming as needed.

  • Serve as first point of employee contact for program-related inquiries, such as L&D opportunities, event questions and suggestions.

  • Support vendor and partner relationship management for L&D, rewards & recognition, employee engagement, etc.


  • 3+ years’ related experience in L&D, Employee Engagement, HR/P&C

  • Proven task, process and project management and execution skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills and detailed oriented

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; SharePoint preferred) and previous experience administrating a Learning Management System

  • Solid understanding of adult learning concepts, including training and facilitation skills

  • Ability to learn new complex systems and tools, optimize and maintain administrative and project management processes

  • Ability to drive work independently, ask relevant and insightful questions, learn quickly and resourcefully

  • Strong teamwork, cross-group collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability

  • Thorough understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion standard methodologies

  • Audience- and user-focused approach to create exceptional employee experiences

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality and express high standards of professionalism

  • Work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends as needed based on the demands of the business
