The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for mentoring and development of our staff, so they are prepared to step into a position with increased responsibility. Assist and advise the Ticket Sales and Service function in staff training and development opportunities.
Be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of Inside Sales staff with a focus on employee skill development & generating new sales revenue.
Lead the Inside Sales function to achieve organizational goals and provide entry into career pipeline to the organization.
Assist with overall strategic direction of the organization and apply it to the department. Work with Director to build standards and goals that support organizational objectives and provide an inclusive culture.
Develop & manage relationships through recruiting trips, LinkedIn & other networking resources that keeps a pipeline full of prospective talent for the entire Tickets & Premium Dept. Partner with P&C Talent Partner to ensure robust pipelines of talent planning.
Lead, manage, develop & coach the Inside Sales Account Executives to improve their sales fundamentals & skillset to best meet the needs of the organization, drive sales and advance their career. Accomplishing this by providing real-time feedback and coaching through regular one on ones, call reviews and other meetings as needed.
Work with Director of Ticket Sales on staff onboarding plans and training opportunities to ensure consistency in process as a department and enhance rep skill level and success in role.
Complete performance reviews and training & development plans for Inside Sales staff.
Monitor, evaluate & mentor Inside Sales Account Executives on sales funnel management
WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
Possess a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience in sales, skill development and generating revenue, 3-4 years preferred
Can work in a flexible environment including working event nights and weekends. Also working events on campus and off that may require interactions with others insides and outside the organization
Can coach and mentor sales staff
Are able to build training programs to specifically improve sales performance of reps
Could partner with P&C Talent Partner to improve the sales pipeline to meet company objectives
Have the ability to partner with DEI team to develop a more inclusive sales team environment to retain talent
Can use a CRM and other technology while having skills to teach others to use
Are able to gain new sales skills and abilities to bring standard methodology to the organization.
