The Digital Marketing and Database Analyst is primarily tasked with assisting the Analytics team in it’s ongoing efforts to drive incremental revenue, provide actionable insights to decision makers, and continually develop our understanding of our fans and marketplace. This position requires a high work-ethic, an analytical mind, creative thinking, and a passion for telling stories through data.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities; including, but not limited to, building HTML emails, email campaign set-up, database and list segmentation, A/B testing and reporting

  • Create and develop surveys and forms to assist with business needs; including but not limited to customer feedback, lead segmentation, market and partnership research, and future product development

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to senior leadership with the purpose of informing future digital marketing strategies

  • Work closely with Analytics and Marketing team to segment database and devise email and social media automations to drive engagement

  • Work closely with Analytics and Partnership team to analyze consumer database and pull out trends and KPI’s to assist with Partnership reporting and development

  • Develop efforts to maintain, clean, assist, and grow CRM and CDM databases across all channels (SEM/SEO, social, email, etc.)

  • Support and innovate on-going revenue and database modeling efforts

  • Work closely with all departments to deep dive into data and provide executive staff with actionable insights

  • Develop innovative dashboards and database automations that can easily tell a complex story to decision makers

  • Ability to work gamedays to assist Analytics team as needed

  • Assist with everyday processes and other long-term projects as assigned

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related area of study required

  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a consumer or digital marketing role

  • Sports experience preferred with an understanding of Major League Soccer and International soccer

  • Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Power Platform (including, but not limited to Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps) preferred

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required

  • Technological aptitude; an ability to troubleshoot and learn complex systems to solve problems and questions

  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic

  • Ability to tell a business story from complex data

  • Basic knowledge of the following programming languages: SQL, R, Python, and/or HTML

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
