The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for performing functions such as evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure business processes and operations. Other functions include analyze, install, modify, and support operating systems, databases, and utilities software. The IT Systems Engineer also plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions. **This is an onsite, FT position with regular working office hours.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide support for Dynamics Nav POS environment with a deep understanding of SQL server

  • Provide day to day support for Toshiba/Verifone/Blackhawk POS Software and Hardware in a High Volume Setting

  • Support of Zettle or Similar Mobile POS hardware and Software

  • Support of Qlik BI tool Front and Backend Solutions

  • Support of Zebra Design Pro or similar warehouse product management technology

  • Administration of Remote Desktop Applications and Servers

  • OnPrem Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain Roles, Certificate Management

  • Autopilot and automate provisioning of all endpoints

  • M365 Technologies including Azure Active Directory/ Exchange/ Sharepoint/ OneDrive / Teams

Requirements:

  • Experience with desktop support of Windows 7-11, MacOS, Android, iOS

  • Experience with Desktop Office 365 suite software and support

  • Experience with Dynamic NAV

  • Experience with POS hardware

  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMWare vCenter/ESXi and/or Proxmox

  • Familiarity of LogMein or related remote management software

  • Windows Server 2012r2 - 2022 knowledge

  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, C/Side coding languages and integrations

  • Experience with Jet Global reporting and BI tools a plus

  • Experience with Citrix workplace apps and connectivity a plus

  • NAS/SAN knowledge

  • Experience with Tableau a plus

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field with a strong technical background.

  • The ideal candidate must be a logical thinker, be able to work through unfamiliar situations and must be able to draw upon past experience and apply to current situations.

  • They will be a self-starter needing little direction. Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting aggressive deadlines

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies

  • Support end users when issues arise

  • Able to own individual projects as well as work on a team

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to non-technical personnel
